Tehran beautification organization has implemented “A gallery as big as a city” project alongside with advertising companies including Faradid Honar for the second year. This plan went from 21 to 30 May with displaying more than 800 works of Iranian and foreign artists. “A gallery as big as a city” plan had covered all around the Tehran city with more than 2000 advertising structures such as bridge decks, billboards, and the other advertising structures In corporation by advertising agencies such as Faradid Honar. Implementation of this project, did bring art among people and causes to change their morale. Also, causes to had culture mood for 10 days from May 21. Past year, this project was greatly welcomed by people, artists and medias. Dr. Isa Alizadeh announced: “according to the decision of policy making council of “a gallery as big as a city”, we have chosen the prominent Iranian and foreign artworks for exhibiting in the urban advertisement space. These artworks are usually kept in the museums and they are among the best ones.” The CEO of Tehran Beautification Organization also explained about the differences between this period and the first period of holding this event: in this period, we had more time for designing, publishing, and installing the artworks, while we had only 20 days in the previous period to prepare everything. The time provided us with a possibility to solve the problems of the previous period.
